Well, the short answer is, I don't know. Only you know what your project is. However, I can give you an idea what kind of projects I'm looking for. Lets start with that. My work queue is pretty full these days. My focus is on one of three kinds of projects:
- A quick, easy project. Something with a budget (not just "as cheap as I can get") that I can knock out in a few hours. I can usually fit little jobs like this in over a weekend, or in a couple evenings during the week.
- A retainer gig. Something long term and ongoing with work on a weekly basis. You can see my pricing for retainers here. (Retainers work for marketing companies too, by the way...)
- A really big project. In other words, a project with a large budget and a long timeline. By large budget, I'm thinking in the $5,000+ range with a launch date many months out.
I don't want to sound all uppity, because that's not my intention. I just don't have a lot of time to chase after people and, over the last 5 or 10 years, projects that fall outside of those three examples tend to take a LOT of my time while paying out very little. Not sure what the deal is with that, but I'm not a fan of the trend. If your project doesn't fit nicely into one of the three categories above, don't be afraid to contact me. I love talking about new projects, I just have to be choosy about the ones I take on.
